My personal website has moved to the first page of google results for my name! However, it is still dominated by the aforementioned opera star and my site is in position #7. Pretty good though as the same site appeared on the 3rd page of google results just a couple of weeks ago. I think creating some videos or something similar on a Youtube channel will help. The soap star has several videos and pictures in the results. I have done some optimizing of some images I have out there but I think the video will help immensely.
Stay tuned for some videos, although most will be shot using my iPhone for now as I don’t currently have a good video camera, the one I have is a bit old and the videos are 480 pixels wide, not very good but that may have to do for now, if I can find the charger. In a couple of weeks I will be out of the country so the opportunity for some good videos will increase exponentially!
Some of the things I did are kind of standard SEO stuff, but others I have not spoken about and are not as widely known I don’t think. If you would like some tips or assistance I would be glad to share although I don’t promise to have a magic bullet or tell you something you might not already know.

I was scouring the ‘Net for this type of info and it’s sad and sorry (and frustrating) that most reputable sites and blogs do NOT have this type of info, and if they do it’s from 2004 or 2005. This market is the fastest growing and info from 2 or 3 years ago is very outdated.
Enter the Fact Pack from Advertising Age. Yes, it’s riddled with ads, duh, but it has a lot of FREE stats on the Latin American market.
